The Central Park of Taipei
Daan Forest Park or Da'an Park is a 26 hectare public park in the center of the Da'an District of Taipei. The park plays a similar role as other major city parks like New York City's Central Park and London's Hyde Park, as a place to relax from hectic city life in Taipei. Many different animals including squirrels, egrets, turtles, and several species of ducks can be found near the park's main pond. The walkways are stroller-friendly, and the playground is easily-accessible from the metro station.
