A Memorial to Sun Yat-Sen
The Sun Yat-Sen memorial hall was opened in 1972 in tribute to Sun Yat-Sen, considered by many as the ‘Father of the Nation’ for Taiwan. The memorial contains a giant statue of SYS, and displays on his life and work. Children may enjoy looking at the giant statue of Sun Yat-Sen with honor guard, and walking around the gardens and lake outside.
