A Play Center at the Taipei’s Science Museum
At the Kid’s Learning & Discovery Playground children can play with science and creativity based toys in a large open setting. Most toys are targeted for kids 2 - 8, but there is a small padded under 2 only area. There is a morning play session from 9 AM to 12 PM, and an after play session from 1 PM to 5 PM Tues - Fri. The weekend/ Summer and Winter vacation play sessions are 9:00 AM to 11:30 AM, 12 PM to 2:30 PM, and 3:00 PM to 5:30 PM.

Things to do with kids:
Construct large and weird looking things with foam toys.
Pretend to eat fake food at the kitchen play area.
Watch balls roll around an elaborate and interactive system located above ones head.
Play with various learning toys.
Build with large soft lego-like blocks.
Rent build-it-yourself toys from the center’s toy library at the front desk. (A tv screen rotates through available toys)
Babies can crawl on mats and play with blocks in the little children only area.
If the weather is nice, there's also 2 outside playgrounds across the street.

Price for over 2 is NT$60, and those under 2 are free.
Price for over 65 is NT$30.
