A Large Eco-park in Nangang
Formerly the site of a landfill, the land has been transformed into a scenic 21 hectare tree-filled park that offers a nice place to relax outside of busy Taipei city. The park contains a log cabin with outdoor seating for drinking coffee, a pavilion, observatory, walkways, playground, and slides that lead to a sand pit with a shade covering. The park can be reached by private transport, or public bus 679 from Nangang Exhibition Center MRT.

Things to do with kids:
Slide down, and then play in the shady sand pit area.
Check out the excavator on display near the sand pit …take care, it’s a little rusty.
Play at the playground.
Enjoy the views of Taipei City from the pavilion.
Look for fish in the restored stream
Enjoy a snack and coffee at the log cabin.
Take a stroll around the park.
Admire the wild pig statues.
Look at the dragons decorating a temple near the entrance to the park.
