A Hike with Views of Taipei 101
The most famous and easily accessible of the "Four Beasts Mountains" of Taiwan, Elephant Mountain offers beautiful views of Taipei city and Taipei 101. However, there's a lot of stairs involved! Luckily, there are rest stops available throughout the hike, and many also offer scenic views. A popular viewpoint is around the 6 Boulders viewing area, which can be a little crowded (especially on weekends). If you continue a little farther, and take a left at the fork in the path, you'll reach the main viewpoint and photo spot to take pictures of Taipei 101. The right path leads on to Tiger Mountain and 9-5 Peak for those seriously into hiking.
