Taipei City government established a sports center in every Taipei district to encourage physical fitness. Besides having facilities for adults, many of the centers provide some sort of children's pool, a play area, and a children’s fitness room.
Here’s a list of the 12 Taipei sports centers and the children facilities offered.

List of Taipei Sports Centers
1. Beitou Sports Center
The Beitou Center includes a 50M long swimming pool with six lanes. However, it doesn’t include a children’s pool, children’s fitness room, or children’s play area like some of the other centers.

1.5. Beitou Resort (Taipei MRT Beitou Hall)
This isn’t officially a government sports center, but it’s pretty similar government run recreation center and it offers more child-friendly options than the Beitou Center. This recreation center offers a 25M long swimming pool with a separate children’s pool (depth of .5M).
There's also a children's play area onsite, which consists of a free ball pit and coin-operated game machines. In addition, sand painting and drawing (NT$60) and pinball games (NT$30) will be available during winter and summer vacations and on weekends.

2. Da'an Sports Center
The Da’an Center includes a 50M long swimming pool (depth of .5M - 1.1M) and a 25M long swimming pool (depth of 1.1M - 0.7M), as well as a children’s play area. However, it doesn’t include a separate children’s pool or a children’s fitness room.

3. Datong Sports Center
The Datong Center includes a 50M long swimming pool, as well as a separate children’s pool with slides. There’s also a children’s play area and reading room, and a community classroom where children’s fitness classes can be held - but check with the center regarding what’s currently available for classes.

4. Nangang Sports Center
The Nangang Center includes a 25M long swimming pool (depth of 1.1M - 1.4M), and a separate children’s swimming pool with slides. There’s also a children’s play area and a community class room, where children’s fitness classes can be held - but check with the center regarding what’s currently available for classes.

5. Neihu Sports Center
The Neihu Center includes a 25M long swimming pool (depth of 1.2M - 1.5M), and a separate children’s swimming pool (depth of .4M) with slides. This center does not currently have a play area or children’s fitness room. However, the free Neihu Parent-Child Play Center is less than 5 minutes away near the Gangqian MRT Station.
Note: There was a family restaurant with play area on the 1st floor of the center, but it closed down.

6. Shilin Sports Center
The Shilin Center includes a 25M long swimming pool, and a separate children’s pool with slides. There’s also a children’s fitness room that offers classes for kids, check with center for more details. On the first floor is a very small indoor play set near the entrance. Next to the sports center is Chengde Park, which includes a bigger outdoor play set, and across the street is the free Shilin Parent-Child Play Center.

7. Songshan Indoor Play Center
The Songshan Center includes a 50M long swimming pool with six lanes, but it doesn’t include a children’s pool, or children’s play area. However, the center does include a martial arts gymnastic classroom, which offers classes for kids - but check with the center regarding what’s currently available.

8. Wanhua Sports Center
The Wanhua Center includes a 25M long swimming pool (depth of 1.35M-1.6M). There’s no children’s pool or children’s fitness classroom, but there is a play room for kids.

9. Wenshan Sports Center
The Wenshan Center includes a 25M long swimming pool (depth of 1.1M - 1.5M), and a separate children’s teaching pool (depth of .8M) and a children’s play pool. There’s also a children’s play area and a multifunction room where children’s fitness classes and martial arts can be held - but check with the center regarding what’s currently available for classes.

10. XinYi Sports Center
The Xinyi Center includes a 25M long swimming pool, and a separate children’s wading pool. The center also has a children’s play room with play set. There isn’t a special children’s fitness room, but there is a multifunctional room at this center, so check with the center regarding what classes are available for kids if you’re interested.

11. Zhongshan Sports Center
The Zhongshan Center includes a 25M long swimming pool (depth of 1.1M-1.3M), and a separate children’s wading pool (depth of .45M-.6M). The center also has a children’s play room with play set, but there’s no children’s fitness room at this center.

12. Zhongzheng Sports Center
The Zhongzheng Center includes a 50M long swimming pool (depth of 1.2M-1.4M), and a separate children’s pool (depth of .5M) with 2 mushroom water umbrella structures. The center also has a children’s play room with play set, and a children’s fitness room. The center is also a 5m walk from the free Zhongzheng Parent-Child Play Center.

Swimming Pool Rules:
Children not allowed in spa areas.
No swim rings or flotation collars.
Kids are allowed to play in the children’s pool, but not in pools with swim lanes.
