A Small Memorial House with Japanese Gardens
If you’re in the area, a visit to the Dr. Sun Yat-Sen Memorial House and gardens can offer a calm getaway from a busy area of town. Formerly a small Japanese hotel, it was made famous as the site Dr. Sun Yat-Sen stayed while visiting Taipei. The gardens are small, but include a pond with some huge koi fish. The house probably doesn’t offer too much of interest for small children, but they may like looking at the pictures on the wall.
