Children's Science Museum in Shilin
Taipei’s Science Museum has activities for kids of all ages. Little kids (including babies) can play at the Learning and Discovery Playground in the museum’s basement. The center’s permanent exhibitions are better for 3+ kids and include exhibits related to Life Sciences, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and the Earth Sciences. The museum also regularly hosts special exhibits on various topics (check the museum’s website for more details). Popular activities at the center include the Science Playground on the 5th floor, the Sky Cycle on the 5th floor, and the 3D and earthquake simulation theaters in the basement.

Experience the earthquake theater, or see a short 3D / virtual reality movie at the theaters on B1.
Kids under 8 can play at the Kids Learning and Discovery Playground also on B1.
Learn about DNA, body parts, and take a tour of the digestive system on the 3rd floor.
See pinned bugs on the 4th floor, and learn about Taiwan's biodiversity.
Play at the ‘Science Playground’ on the 5th floor, and older kids can ride the sky bikes.
Touch various rocks on the the 6th floor, and see exhibits on math and geology.
Visit the ever-changing special exhibits taking place on the 7th and 8th floors (additional admission).

Price for 3-6F permanent exhibitions is NT$100 for adults, NT$70 for students, and free for under 6.
Price for 3D and virtual reality theaters are NT$100 for adults, NT$70 for students, and free for under 6.
