A Nature Park in Beitou
Guandu Nature Park is located in Northern Taipei and is a major stop over for migratory birds. It’s a good place for a nature walk with young kids as paths are fairly large and stroller-friendly. Besides birds, the park is also home to a pair of water buffalos that wander around the park. The park has several bird-watching cabins, a visitor's center with aquariums displaying various animals, and a wood stacking play area which young kids may find amusing. An onsite cafe is located on the second floor of the visitor's center.
After visiting the park, consider visiting the nearby Guandu Temple, which is a 10 minute walk from the park and has beautiful views of the riverfront.
