1. Austin Land
On the 8th Floor of the Taipei Living Mall is Austin Land, a well-maintained play center with a variety of activities for kids. There’s a large ball pit with slides and a nearby jump platform, to encourage physical play. They also have play kitchens, doll houses, and train sets to encourage imaginary play. Older kids can also take turns riding in a giant robot, while younger kids can drive a little toy train around a track. Near the back of the play center, next to the onsite restaurant, is a sand box with unique dinosaur themed sand trucks. (READ MORE)

2. Baby Boss
On the 7th Floor of the Taipei Living Mall is Baby boss, a role playing amusement center in which kids can learn about different jobs. The center consists of a play town and kids can go to different store fronts to learn and participate in each occupation. 3. Crazy Kart
On the 6th Floor of the Taipei Living Mall is Crazy Kart (formerly Kiwan Kids Car), which has a tire race track where kids and adults can drive karts around a track to simulate race car driving. Kids 6+ can drive their own kart, those under 6 must ride with an adult. Helmets are available. (READ MORE)

4. Fantasy Island Discovery Paradise
For some excitement, visit the Fantasy Island Discovery Paradise ropes course on level B2 of the Taipei Living Mall (京華城). Each level of the rope course has various obstacles for kids to overcome and coaches are on hand to help kids and congratulate them as they make it through the course. Kids wear ropes and harnesses, plus a helmet as they make their way through the ropes course. At the end is a shallow ball pool with a touchscreen activity. Also available next to the ropes course, but requiring a separate admission, is a Noah's Ark obstacle maze, which kids can walk through without ropes or harnesses. The maze is full of obstacles and stuffed animals, and includes a big red slide. (READ MORE)

6. Hape Playcenter
On the 5th Floor of the Taipei Living Mall is the Hape play center, which showcases a huge variety of Hape toys (they’re the largest producer of wooden toys). Most of the toys are wooden, eco-friendly, and adhere to international safety guidelines. The center includes a large sand play area with slides, sand toys, and geometric climbing structures. There’s also lots of wooden play food, kitchen sets, teepees, puzzles, a train set, building toys, and a variety of other educational toys. 7. Leap Frog
On the 2nd Floor of the Taipei Living Mall is the children's fitness play center Leap Frog, which was formerly located at the Taipei Water Park in Gongguan. The center has jump platforms, horizontal bars, a giant inflatable wheel kids can get inside, rock climbing wall, basketball court, push cars, a toddler roller coaster, and a variety of other activities to encourage physical play. On the 7th Floor of the Taipei Living Mall is the ocean-themed branch of Kidsburgh. It’s an attractive and well maintained (but pricey) indoor play center for children under 12. The facility is ocean themed, and includes physically active, creative, and sensory focused activities. Kids can play in a huge ball pit and slide area, shoot foam cannons, play in a lego block building room, jump inside a bouncy castle, ride sea-themed carousels, visit a play market and cooking area, and more. 11. WePlay Center
WePlay is a local Taiwanese manufacturer of children’s toys, including the climbing mats that are in most of the government run parent-child play centers. They also have a play center in Songshan District showcasing their products. Space is limited, so it’s recommended to reserve a spot in advance.
