Largest Children's Book Section in Taipei
Eslite is the largest bookstore chain in Taiwan, but the stores are more like huge shopping centers that sell a variety of lifestyle products in addition to books. The fifth floor of the Eslite flagship building in Xinyi is exclusively designed for children, and has a large selection of both Chinese and English children’s books. While not all books are unwrapped (which can be quite frustrating!), a variety of sample books are available throughout the store. On the same floor are stores selling children's clothes, toys, and offering DIY activities.
