1. Mr. Tree Station (Da’an District)

A child-focused restaurant targeting the pre-school and younger crowd, Mr Tree Station offers a big play area with ball pit and slides, a water play area, lots of toys, and an environment where children can be loud without fear of disturbing other diners. There's also a separate, but small, under 2 area. The decor of the restaurant is designed to look like a British underground metro station, and the menu is in Chinese and English.

The play space is for kids under 6, and entrance fee is NT$150 (Weekday) and NT$180 (Weekend and Holidays). Minimum charge for those who are over 6 years old is NT$180 + 10%.

2. Money Jump (Neihu District)

Money Jump is a family-friendly restaurant located close to the Taipei Flower Market in Neihu. It has a beautifully decorated interior, and includes a working carousel, slide with small ball pit, some toy cars kids can ride, reading area, sand table, and separate under 2 area.

There is no age limit for the play space, but would appeal most to kids under 6. Minimum spend is NT$300 (weekdays) and NT$500 (weekends) for adults, and NT$200 for kids.

3. Boss Mama (Neihu District)

BossMama is meant to be an adult-oriented restaurant where grown-ups can relax in a comfortable environment, while also providing a fun space filled with toys and games for kids. There’s a large wooden castle playset for kids to climb, as well a slide that empties into a ball pit. Other toys include a train table, toy trucks, play kitchens with wooden food, and stacking blocks. There's a craft activity organized for kids during each play session led by one of the playroom attendants. Boss Mama also has a separate and smaller play area just for kids under 2.

The play space at this restaurant is for kids under 6. Play sessions are: Lunch 11: 30 AM - 2:00 PM, Tea 2:30 PM - 5 PM, 6 PM - 9 PM. Entrance to the play area for babies under 2 is NT$100, the price for kids 2-6 is NT$300 (includes a happy meal on weekdays, and salad buffet on weekends).

4. Galilei Brunch (Xinyi District)

Located on the 4th floor of building A8 of the Mitsukoshi Mall in Xinyi, Galilei Brunch serves American style food and has a small padded indoor area for kids. The indoor play space isn’t that impressive, but the large play area on the outdoor rooftop with terrific views of Taipei 101 is pretty cool!

There is no age restrictions for the play space, and the minimum spend is NT$250/person.

5. Elephant Garden (Neihu District)

Elephant Garden is a colorful elephant-themed restaurant located across the street from Bihu Park in Neihu. Menu items include both Eastern and Western food, and there’s a large outdoor playset where kids can play while waiting for their meal. For young kids the restaurant also provides free rental of colored elephant strollers for those who want to take a stroll around the Bihu Park lake.

The play space is meant for kids 3-12. The minimum charge is NT$120 per person for everyone 3 and above.

6. Greenwood (Zhongzheng District)

Located near the CKS memorial is Greenwood, a family restaurant with large indoor play space for kids 8 and under. The first floor has a forest-themed play set with tunnels, slide, ball pit, foam blocks, and a separate (but small) baby area with age-appropriate toys. The main eating area is in the basement, and a nearby play room includes rideable push cars, baby swings, doll houses, a play kitchen area, train sets, trucks, puzzles, and other toys.

The play space is for kids 0-8 years old. Minimum spend for adults is NT$350 on weekdays, and NT$400 on weekends, and for children it's NT$200 on weekdays, and NT$250 on weekends. Infants under 10 months old are free.

7. Hello Jazz (Shilin District)

This is an American-style restaurant in Tianmu, so great location for those living in the international Tianmu area, but a bit of a trek for those downtown. The restaurant has a really nice sandbox within a glassed in patio on the 2nd floor. The play space also has a couple of big train tables and a small ball pit area on the ground floor, and play kitchens, sandbox, and some other small toys on the first floor.

The play space is for kids 0-6 years old, and there's a NT$150 cleaning fee per child. The minimum spend for everyone over 6 is NT$280.

8. Baba Kevin American BBQ (Zhongshan District)

Baba Kevin’s serves slow cooked American style BBQ in a family-friendly environment. Ordering takes place at a counter on the first floor, and downstairs visitors will find the play area and additional seating. The food is excellent, and there’s lots to entertain young kids. The play area has a small ball pit with slide (and rideable excavator), electric drivable cars and push cars, a train table, trampoline, a large doll house, teepee, play food, and other assorted toys. There’s also a large screen setup, so visitors can play their own music or videos using AirPlay.

There's no age restrictions for the play space, and no cleaning fee.

9. FUN樂砌 (Wanhua District)

FUN樂砌 is a lego cafe that specializes in sandwiches, pastas, and desserts. There’s a lego building area for kids, a variety of lego displays, and lego merchandise available for purchase, plus the restaurant size is much larger than the other lego cafes in town.

There is no age restrictions for the play space. Minimum spend is NT$120, and there's no time limit.

10. Yo童 (Xinyi District)

Yo童 is located close to Taipei 101, and especially on weekdays it provides a relaxed environment for parents to eat and kids play. The main dining area is downstairs in the playroom, with a couple tables upstairs. The play area includes a large ball pit with some interesting geometrical climbing equipment. There's also a small sandbox filled with seeds, some toy cars kids can ride, quite a few play kitchen sets with play food, and a variety of other small toys.

The play space is for kids 0-6 years old, and the cleaning fee is NT$150 on weekdays, and NT$200 on weekends. Minimum spend for those over 6 is NT$200 on weekdays, and NT$250 on weekends.
