Biking in Taipei with Kids
There’s over 100 kilometers of cycle paths that run throughout Taipei’s riverside parks, and 10 official Taipei City bike rental facilities that offer a variety of bike choices, including parent-child bikes, kids bikes, and even balance bikes. Bike rental is very inexpensive, starting at NT$15 (about USD .50) for an hour during the weekday, and NT$50 for parent-child bikes. Weekdays: NT$15 per hour; NT$30 for two hours.
Holidays: NT$25 per hour; NT$50 for two hours.
Gear changeable bike: NT$40 per hour; NT$60 for two hours.
Mountain bike, Tandem bike, Parent-child bike: NT$60 per hour; NT$90 for two hours.
Parent-child bike: NT$50 per hour; NT$80 for two hours.
