A Free Play Center in Neihu District
With the goal of encouraging play and bonding between parents and children, Taipei City government established a parent-child play center in every Taipei district. All the centers are free, and designed to be warm and friendly environments. The centers are for children 0-6 and their care takers, and include special under 2 only areas with age appropriate toys.
The Neihu center has a very large under 2 area, as well as a big reading section where attendants regularly lead story times and dance activities. There’s a craft area, lots of toys for individual play, a dress-up area and role play section, as wall as balance beams and simple climbing toys.
There is a morning play session from 9:30 AM to 12 PM, and an after play session from 2 PM to 5 PM. The weekend play sessions are 9:30 AM to 11 AM, 1 PM to 2:30 PM, and 3:30 PM to 5 PM.

Explore the variety of learning toys available at the center.
Climb and balance on the balance beams.

Babies can crawl around the under 2 area, which includes a little mushroom slide.
