A Free Play Center in Nangang District
With the goal of encouraging play and bonding between parents and children, Taipei City government established a parent-child play center in every Taipei district. All the centers are free, and designed to be warm and friendly environments. The centers are for children 0-6 and their care takers, and include special under 2 only areas with age appropriate toys.
The Nangang center has a physical play area that includes a playset with climbing area, bridge, and small jump platform. There’s also a big under 2 area with age appropriate toys. The center also has numerous shelves and containers with learning toys, in addition to play kitchens, a play house, dress up area, and play work benches to encourage role playing and imaginary play.
There is a morning play session from 9:30 AM to 12 PM, and an after play session from 2 PM to 5 PM. The weekend play sessions are 9:30 AM to 11 AM, 1 PM to 2:30 PM, and 3:30 PM to 5 PM.

Let babies crawl around and explore the under 2 area.
