A Flea Market in New Taipei City
The Fuhe flea market is located across the river from Gongguan in Yonghe District, New Taipei City. The market, which has been operating for over 20 years, sells clothes, toys, jewelry, electronics, brass statues, paintings, dishes, vases, and some unique household decorations … as well as coffee and snacks. It makes for an interesting place to stroll with kids. Nearby is a traditional food market, a flower market (under the Fuhe bridge), and the Fuhe sports park. After walking around he flea market, kids may like visiting the playgrounds at the park. There’s also a big sports field, and even a massive climbing wall for adults or older kids.

If the weekend flower market is taking place, check out the flowers under the bridge next to the flea market. If it isn’t, watch (or participate?) in all the other activities taking place under the bridge, like dancing, roller skating, and badminton.
Walk over to the nearby Fuhe sports park, which has two playgrounds, exercise equipment, a climbing wall, and a big sports field.
