Driverless MRT Train with Big Windows
Looking for a unique Taipei activity … ride the Brown Wenhu MRT line from first stop to last stop. The entire trip takes about 45m - 1hr, and it can be a fascinating adventure for kids as it is almost entirely above ground and uses a driverless system so kids and adults can look out large windows in the first and last train cabins. Highlights include seeing the lake and moon bridge at Dahu Park, viewing the Ferris wheel at Miramar Entertainment Park, planes at the Songshan airport, going through a very long tunnel near the airport, and finally stopping at the Taipei Zoo Station, which is also near the transfer point for the Maokong Gondola.

Service hours are 6AM - 12AM.
Trains depart every 4-7 minutes during off-peak hours and 2-4 minutes during peak hours.
The train stays about 20-30 seconds at each station.
