A Fire Safety Museum in Neihu District
The Taipei Fire Safety Museum teaches kids and parents about fire safety, and best practices in case of a fire, earthquake, typhoon, or other type of emergency. There’s several interactive activities available for kids, such as holding a fire hose spraying water, navigating through a maze filled with smoke, and practicing how to stay safe during a mock-earthquake with shaking floor. All visits to the museum require a tour guide, so phone to make reservations in advance. If you're a small group, the museum will likely add you to another group for your visit. The museum’s website is available in English, and provides information on what’s available to see on each floor. (Also, the fire safety videos they play before each activity are available in English as well!).
